Cacao is a safe and gentle plant medicine ally. Long before the advent of commercial chocolate, cacao seeds were prepared as a ceremonial drink within the indigenous cultures of Mesoamerica. When honored in ceremony, cacao acts as a gentle, yet powerful, assistant to stimulate the pineal gland and open the heart. Reclaiming chocolate as medicine, while sitting together with sacred intention, is a powerful way to increase sensitivity to subtle energies, integrate unresolved experiences and emotions, and facilitate connection.

This is a non-traditional ceremony where we sit in the company of our reflected truths, and employ some ancient tools: breath and voice. The potential for purification, transformation and integration is endless when it comes to utilizing our inbuilt alignment system. Working with the voice in this sacred context grants new life and by the end of our practice, we feel it in every aspect of our being. We are vibrant, aligned and glowing; our energy is flowing.

Weaving our voices in a great tapestry is a most wonderful prayer form and this evening is for everyone regardless of our experience with cacao or singing.
