Sema Rae is a musician, healer and a coach from Turkey. Trained in yoga, sound therapy and temple arts, she is passionate about healing, manifesting and realizing self through the voice. The art of drum making is a ceremony.

It is an initiation into embodying the voice we are given and the voice of Mother Earth. It has a life of its own and delivers unique lessons, messages and challenges for each person. It is a rite of passage into the self that is calling us. It is reclamation of our destiny as we step into the unfolding of our own great story.

This offering is for those who hear the call of the drum; who long to connect with the Earth and be a channel for the Divine; who have a heart for healing; who simply desire to sing and drum more; and for those who are ready to claim their voice.

Drumming and singing is the most ancient technology to achieve states of high consciousness where deep healing and transformation happens, wisdom is received and life force replenished.

For me this ceremony is inseparable from our unique song. It is all about being a channel for our voice to fulfill its purpose - expressing the divine we are made of. It is to remember our birthright - our undeniable belonging to this Earth and to honor her will for us.

In this all day workshop we will hold a ceremony where we craft our medicine drums with intention and reverence to the process of death and birthing anew. In our safe container we will create beauty, listen to what wants to come through us and weave our prayers and voices together. At the end of our full day ceremony, we will take our cherished drums home with us, and commit to the practice of intentionally communing with the elemental forces in the context of channeling divine music.

This is an invitation into exploration and experience of “Shabda Brahma” - the Word that is Creator as well as Naad Yoga - yoga of sound.

Sema Rae

Sema Rae is a Songstress and temple artist from the Aegean Coast of Turkey. Deeply connected to the Earth wisdom of her Motherland, she has traveled the world for the past 14 years studying and drawing upon a multitude of sound and ritual movement practices. These lineages include, Nepalese Sound Healing, Yoga, Drum Medicine and SheDance from Thailand. Through transformational events, retreats and workshops, Sema teaches vocal empowerment, holds containers of authentic expression and gives the gift of song.

Her unique sound is inspired by her foundation in healing and devotional world music, channeling mantras and medicine songs. Her poetic story-telling is laced with angelic vocals, bringing codes of light from above. Her first single 'SitaRam' was released earlier this year, with more to come soon.

Sema Rae is a singer-songwriter, drum maker and teacher from Turkey. On Kickstarter tour for Noah Proudfoot’s third studio album - the largest and most diverse collection of songs Noah has yet to release - the duo is excited to co-create a heartwarming evening with the community and share brand new music from Noah’s forthcoming album, as well as original songs, mantra and medicine songs.

SONGHA - A Day Retreat To Elevate Your Musical Expression in Community

Join us for a day music retreat with Noah Proudfoot, Sema Rae and Flint Blade on this charged Full Moon-Solstice weekend to embody the full expression of your musical gifts, access your unique voice in a safe and encouraging environment.

This container is designed to call forth the Muse within and activate your expansion into your calling - into living your song!

We will tune into our hearts' deep purpose with cacao medicine and anchor it into reality through the power of our voices, singing in community, learning the tools and experimenting in the workshops.
After the performances, participants will get the opportunity to share their music and be witnessed at the open mic around the fire.

Noah Proudfoot:
From the Appalachian Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina, Noah Proudfoot is a songwriter and producer with a simple mission- to uplift and inspire humanity through the gift of music. His heartfelt lyrics reflect the sensitivity of a seasoned writer, as he artfully weaves personal stories together with the full spectrum of the human experience. Always aware of the silver lining, his songs resonate with redemption and hope, lifting his listeners up and holding their hearts with intention. Over the years he's had the opportunity to share stages with national acts such as Matisyahu, Gone Gone Beyond, Yaima, and Satsang. Currently, Noah is working on his third studio album- his most expansive collection of songs yet. From folk-tronic to world music and stripped down acoustic, each song is a universe unto itself, inviting listeners into the lush, colorful soundscapes of his imagination.

Sema Rae:
Sema Rae is a singer-songwriter, drum maker and teacher from Turkey. Deeply inspired by devotional music from all cultures across the globe and influenced by her background in frequency healing, she weaves healing sounds, channeled mantras and medicine songs with stories of her honest journey through life.
Sema's first single 'SitaRam' was released earlier this year in collaboration with her fiancé Noah Proudfoot anchoring the codes of divine union and harmony.
Through transformational events, retreats and workshops, she teaches vocal empowerment, holds containers of authentic expression and gives the gift of song.

Flint Blade:
Flint Blade channels uplifting ethereal soundscapes using voice, Chapman Stick and various world instruments; integrating live looping & electronics to create his signature Jambient psychedelic style.
Based in Florida, Flint tours nationally while recording, producing and releasing music through High Vibe Records and his own In Love Records.
